Q: On my 2007 Audi A3 I find the headlights very weak and the pattern off.?
Both lights seem to train on the kerb. I understand that adjustment is not for the DIY as there is a sensor that adjusts against any adjustment that you do. I have the level adjustment set at 0 on the dashboard. Does anyone else find that on unlit roads the dipped lights do not offer much predictability of road direction ahead?
A: Well the best thing about this being an '07 model is that it is under warranty. This is clearly a safety related issue and requires immediate correction. Call the dealer, explain the problem, and set a time to take it in. I bet you can't wait until the warranty is up, and all the little "features" in that car start going crazy.....

Q: Does the 2007 Audi A3 have an option for Homelink garage door openers?
I thought in previous years the "Technology Package" included the Homelink, but now I don't see that option available anymore. Anyone know?
A: Yes Audi is still working with Homelink and they offer it still on new cars. Here is the list of cars that Audi can equip with Homelink.

If for some reason you can't find it for your car, Homelink now has a cordless battery powered transmitter that can be used anywhere for any car even motorcycles now.

Q: I have a 2007 Audi A3 s-line. I?
I purchased an 2007 Audi A3 s-line from the states, and I live in Canada. I was wondering if I am able to change the digital speedometre to km from miles.
A: You might have to go to a Mechanic so that they can change it, but doesnt it show the kilometers in the middle under the miles one i think it does..
Good luck
Q: How come Audi A3 (with DSG, 200 HP) of 2008 has worse mileage than A3 2007?
A: It doesn't make any sense I have compared the technical specs of both and there is no reason why it should get worse mileage but it does. The 08 weighs less and is technically a slightly smaller car but the mileage is worse. The only thing I could think of is that they messed with the turbo or possibly are restricting horsepower some where causing waste and hurting mileage.
Q: Does an Audi A3 T (2007) require premium fuel?
We've had an Acura and a Volvo that both recommended premium but ran fine on 87 octane fuel. Is this possibly true of the A3? We've searched the internet and cant get a definitive answer. We realize that the performance might be less impressive but these days of crazy gas prices - it can make a big difference when choosing a new car.
A: you might get away with it with the 3.2 but not on the 2.0T. the 3.2 will sense engine knocking and retard the timing to save your engine but the 2.0T really needs the premium. i would not chance it for the 4 dollars per fill up to use premium. it only requires 91 so if your stations have 93 you don't have to use it.
you'll also notice its not "recommended" by Audi it is a Minimum rating. if a car only recommended premium use its probably a low enough compression engine to get by on regular and premium is a added safety. Audis engines are high compression and therefore prone to detonation of regular fuel.
Q: 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 or Audi A3?
Looking to buy new.
A: No question the speed3 is superior to the A3 in several ways. I really like the A3, but for less money you can get a speed3. Audi isn't among the best in quality or reliability and the A3 doesn't have the performance of the Mazda. I would choose the Speed3 if you like to drive manual tranny car. If you want an AWD go for the Speed6 for about the same money as the A3 and still better.
Q: First car, making a small consideration list. some help?
So im looking for a good, nice, somewhat fast first car. my budget would probably be 30k, but i would prefer around 25-26k.
here are some specs and a few considerations
Specifications
must be year 2006 or over
must have a turbo
must be four doors
must be automatic, or have some auto type
20mpg and higher is preferred
Considerations
a 2006-2007 Subaru WRX
a 2007-2009 Audi A4
a 2008-2009 Audi A3
a 2008 GTI
a 2009 Lancer Ralliart
Thanks for your help
The Evo's insurance is too much though. i would get one but thats standing in the way. New drivers insurance rates plus a lancer evo would not be very wallet friendly
A: Subaru Forester
The Forester has always been a sensible, practical, and affordable vehicle, and the redesigned 2009 model is the same. The base engine is an adequate 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and the turbocharged engine in the XT delivers effortless acceleration.
