Q: Will Audi a4 parts fit on a Jetta?
i was wondering if parts of a4s would fit on jettas because they are made by the same company?

A: My husband is an Audi Tech. They are two completely different vehicles and require different parts.

Q: Where cain I find Audi A4 2002 Quattro 1.8T parts?
Hi, I am looking for these parts for my Audi car and have not found them so far... It is a combination valve and the change over valve, part numbers are 06B131101H and 026906283H respectively. Could you please let me know where I can find them? Maybe you know about a junk yard or some place like that around the Triangle area in North Carolina? Thanks, Agustin.

Q: Are Audi A4/S4 Performance Parts expensive???
I know that the Audi has very expensive maintenance but do they also have very expensive performance parts too? I wanted to buy either a JDM car or an Audi. Are JDM performance parts cheaper then Audi's. I was looking at a variety of perf. parts for the S4 and there were VERY expensive. Most were in the thousands $$$. I want to modify my car to about 400HP without spending over $5k a year. But i definitely can't afford the ones for the S4. So my question is...are JDM performance parts cheaper than the ones for Audi's? Please ask me any questions if you need me to clarify anything. bump bump bump

A: yes..their better

Q: what parts do i need in order to change Audi a4 2003 with a symphony radio?
i think i need the dash kit and a wire harness? cause i know i have a bose sound system in my car and i want to replace it with an after market radio but i dont know what parts i need

A: you need to go to crutchfield.com and put in your cars info--- on the left hand side of the screen under "shop", you want to highlight "car audio and video" then click on "outfit my car" and put in your cars info and it will show you what fits and what you can do to make it fit-- their prices are a little higher but its worth it because they have the best customer service out there and when you order from them you get about $130 worth of free installation gear Free installation guides Free Audi A4 In-dash Receiver Kit Free Audi Wiring Harness Free Antenna Adapter

Q: I have a two part question about a 1998 Audi A4 problem I'm having?
I own a 98 Audi A4 and I have two questions about it. First, how do you reprogram the alarm remote when you put new batteries in it. When I looked in the manual it said you have to take it to an Audi dealership to do it. I'm not paying $100.00 to program a remote because my batteries went dead. Second, I installed a aftermarket radio in the car and now my alarm keeps activating. I brought my car to a mechanic I know and he said I don't have a short and he hooked it up to his diagnostic machine and he said it came back with no error codes. He said that the stock radio had a plug-in for the alarm that the aftermarket radio might not have, so the alarm ''thinks'' the radio is stolen. He thinks an Audi dealership would be my only hope but before I go there, I figured I try here. If anyone has the right answer I'll buy you a beer. Please help. Thanks.

A: you don't have to go to a dealer for that, you need two keys. Put 1 in the ignition and turn it on but don't start the car, then put the second key in the drivers door and turn the key in the door to the unlock position and hold it for 5 sec. and then press the unlock button and then do the same for the lock. as for the radio a dealer is your only option.

Q: What is the part called on my 1999 Audi A4?
On the outside of the door. There is a thin strip painted the same color of the car about halfway down from the bottom of the window and the bottom of the car. I have searched online for "exterior door trim" and could not find the part. I need it because it started to peel up and eventually fell off while driving. Does anyone know where I could find this part online or what it is called? I'm asking to avoid paying a huge amount at an Audi Dealership.

A: it's called the "protection strip for door" in audi speak. There is a separate part number for each door front/rear but you didn't say which door you have the problem with. The base audi number is 8D0 853 953 (driver front) or 954 (pass front) or 963 (driver rear) or 964 pass rear. If you look in the trunk, under the spare wheel cover, you'll see a sheet with your paint code OR, they sell a primered set as well. The primered ones run around $20 a pop and around $40 for painted. (last I checked) If you want after market, ecs tuning also sells them. Around the same price but I think they only sell the primered pieces. go to www.ecstuning.com I really gotta get a life....

Q: When you replace the timing belt on a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L V6 Quattro, what other parts are replaced?

A: im a audi tech, when we do timing belts we replace the belt, tensioner, all pulleys that touch the belt, thermostat, acc belt, coolant, and the cam bolts (these are important to replace cause the are torqued to yield)

Q: When you replace the timing belt on a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L V6 Quattro, what other parts "NEED" replacement?
This car was bought used with 150,000 miles on it. It's recommended that you also replace the front crank seal and 2 camshaft seals. Is this neccessary? Is it neccessary to replace all 4 relays/tensioners or just the INA and NTN tensioner idlers? Please be as specific as possible as to why parts should be replaced.

A: I could see changing the belt at 150,000. Check the tensioners to they feel tight? I wouldn't worry about the seals unless they are leaking. You know what they say if it ain't broke your wasting money.

Q: WHats the Name/PArt number of the belt in my 1997 Audi A4 1.9 TDi?
What is the Belt that drives the Power Steering, Alternator and fan on my 1997 Audi A4 1.9TDi actually called? Its the NON Aircon Model. If you have a Part number that would be awesome. See mine snapped and I need a replacement but Halfords don't have a clue.

A: i believe part number is 028 903 137 AR (17.8x1592mm) for v belt and 06B 260 849 A (14.12x855mm) for v belt for ac that is all could find for 1997 a4 diesel, or tdi, in etka

Q: what is the difference between an audi a4, b5,b6, b7?
i have an audi a4 and have been looking at after market parts, but i keep seeing the reference b5's, b6's, b7's, and all of which are suppose to be a4's. what does this mean and how do i determine why type my a4 is?

A: the B5 B6 B7 are the different facelifts of the a4. The B5 is from 1994 through 2001 - The B6 had new styling and that was model years 2000 through 2005. The B7 is 2004 through present and has the new engine and the new front end

Q: Want to get an Audi A3 or A4. Heard they weren't reliable and parts were dear. Is this true, Audi owners?

A: From what I understand the build quality and reliability is on par with other car makers from Germany such as BMW and Mercedes.........if your buying new that is......Maintenance and repairs might be quite expensive.

Q: How can I replace an armrest lid and ESP button of Audi a4 b6 model.?
I have audi a4 b6model. its armrest lid is not functioning properly. so I need to get it changed (just armrest lid, not whole armrest). and ESP button painting is bubbled. Also I want to change it. How can I replace these part by myself? I can get these part on Ebay. Thanks.
