Q: Jaguar XF or Audi A5??
What do you recommend I buy? A brand new Jaguar XF or a Audi A5 Quattro (both roughly same price). Both I think have pros and cons. Discuss.... More answers please!!

A: none of the above. well the jaguar if you must. but both cars are very expensive to repair the Audi has a poor customer satisfaction rating.

Q: Practical coupe: Audi A5, BMW 330ci?
I am looking at getting myself a nice coupe (i'm fed up with company cars) and was considering the Audi a5 3.2 Quattro, bmw 330/ 335 ci or similar. Please bear in mind i do about 15000 a year and that the car will need to be able to transport my 4 year old daughter as well as my wife. I live in rural Somerset where the council have a complete inability to grit roads, hence I’ve had a few dodgy experiences with front wheel drive cars (hence Audi Quattro) Other suggestions appreciated, up to an absolute max of £45,000 ($90,000)

I am looking at buying an Audi A5 Convertible when it comes out....and I have some questions...one....will it have a 6-speed tiptronic....i know it will have quattro....two....will it have a 3.2 L V6.....also, are they going to have the 1.8 or 2.0 Turbo engines??? Wouldn't these be underpowered. I have an 07 Audi A4 Convertible, Quattro, 2.0T Tiptronic, and I don't want the A5 to be slower. Also, when I ask the questions above, I am talking about for the US, not Germany or the UK, etc. Thank you in advance!!!

A: I answered one of your other questions and just looked at some of your past questions - one of them says you are 13! WHY the heck are you wasting time here pretending you are buying a car????? GROW UP! You sound intelligent and you may be interested in cars, but don't pretend you are an adult if you are not!

A: The A5 will have a 3.2 Liter 261 HP FSI V6 engine. The S5 will have a 4.2 Liter 358 HP FSI V8 engine. It will have a 6-speed Manual Transmission. They have not mentioned an automatic version yet. If they will come out with an automatic version, it will probably be a 5-speed DSG(Tiptronic) Automatic transmission. The 1.8T, 2.0T, 2.7L Diesel V6, and 3.0L Diesel V6 engines will NOT be offered in America, but they will be offered everywhere else.

Q: Audi A5 MPG?
Does anyone have any idea what the mileage for an Audi A5 3.2 V6 Tiptronic quattro would be...also what trasmissions and engines are being offered for the A5 IN THE US Thanks!

A: So far, they only plan to provide the 6-speed Manual transmission and the gas mileage was not released yet. Expect it to be around 18mpg city, 27mpg highway.

Q: Audi A5 Transmission?
Is the Audi A5, Not S5 going to be offered in a trim with the 3.2 V6, tiptronic auto (or any other shiftable automatic) with quattro? THANKS!

A: yes, it will be offered with Audis DSG gearbox which have two mode paddle shifter or automatic.
