Q: 2007 audi a6 mmi bluetooth.?
I have just purchased a 2007 audi a6 and it does not have a gsm phone prep in armrest.I am wondering can I fit a second hand mmi with bluetooth and fit the shark fin antenna?Would this give me bluetooth or do I have to change something else? Where would I get these parts?

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2007 A6 at a great price, but does not have GPS. Can a factory unit be added in aftermarket?

A: yeas a factory system can be added after market the factory unit goes where the factory stereo is. im not sure if it would be as simple as just switching the units out though there may be some issues with what type of stereo system you have installed (bose or not) and whether there are more components than the main unit. ( is the GPS antenna in the unit or wired to some other part of the car) either way it is doable just a matter of whether you can just buy the unit and install it yourself or if you have to take it to an install shop to have it installed. The A6 is a great car though i recomend it.

Q: audi a6-glove compartment?
i have an audi a6 2007 but i dont know how to open the glove compartment to it, is there a latch on the side or something?

A: Hi there, Your salesperson should have showed that to you when you picked your car up, but since they didn't..... There are two buttons on the dash to the right of the navigation / MMI screen; the one on the bottom (the lower of the two) opens the glove compartment. Hope this helps.

Q: Audi A5 Dilemma?
Well, I went to an Audi Dealer today and I need some help. Forgive me if I'm Babbling. Anyway, I went to my Aud Dealer today planning to look at the A4 or A6. I sat down in the A4 and immeadiatly knocked it off my list beacause it felt too much like a VW Jetta. I did not want to spend more than $46,000 for the car. I drove the Audi A6 and loved it. I tested a left-over 2007 Audi A6 that was white with cognac leather which looked amazing. It had just about every feature inside. The sticker said around $53,000, with 350 Miles and it being a 2007, he said I could get it for $48,000. Right as I was going to walk away and think about it, I spotted the new Audi A5. It was in Deep Sea Blue and Cinnoman Leather. With a sticker price of $51,000, I decided to test it. It drove really well and looked stunning. The sales guy said they had a 40-Person waiting list for the car, and they managed to get this one in, as well as a black one. The blue one was on hold, but the black wasn't. I didn't want. ***it because it had the bigger rims and I didn't feel like buying snow tires. I can either get the black one, wait for the blue, order and wait another 6 Months to pa little less than sticker, or walk out with an A6, What would you do? I forgot to say, if I buy the A5 now, I will have to pay sticker, but I want to be one of the first to have one.

And slush and road sand and salt.....I bet those bigger wheels are fine FINE FINE! ...and you'll be mostly driving a '79 International Scout or something...on BAD days. my dad is thinking of getting a new car because he has just got a new job which now pays a lot and the car allowance is £17,000 a year. so price doesn't really matter. he will be working from home 50% of the time and travelling to europe, asia and africa the other 50% of the time. we have a 2007 audi a4 saloon 2.0tdi quattro s line special edition at the moment but we need something bigger. it has to be diesel as well. please help!! thank you :-)

A: The Audi A6 is significantly more ponderous than the Audi A4. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Audi A6 than the Audi A4 because of its larger tank. The Audi A4 and the Audi A6 compete for the same parking spaces. The A4's shorter wheelbase will likely give a sprier feel in daily traffic. On the flip side, the A6 is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Q: Looking into purchasing 2005 Audi A6, and need help with Questions.?
I'm in the car market right now, purchasing a first car for my son. I have given him a 23,000 spending limit. I have agreed to get him the 2005 Audi A6 he likes, although I am hesitant on buying a 4 year old car. I have read reviews, and the A6 has performed well, I like the safety features and the Quattro All Wheel Drive System. The sedan we are looking at has 27,000 miles and is fully loaded with Navigation System, only asking $22,995. The car is equipped with the award winning Audi 3.2 Liter V6. I am curious if the car has an Ipod adapter, like my daughters 2007 Jetta? Any other good luxury sedans to look into? We have looked at a 2007 328i, but the luxury does not compare to the A6. A: The 2005 A6 has an aux port that an IPOD can be plugged into. But it doesn't have a dedicated port for it. The Audi Quattro system is the best in the world for passenger cars. And that makes it a very safe car in rain, snow, mountain driving and on dry pavement. Audi was banned from rallye racing because it kept placing its three entries in the first, second and third place finishes. SCAA has also banned Audi. They say the Quattro system gives it an unfair advantage over the others (MBZ, BMW, etc). Audi interiors are called "The Benchmark" of all auto companies by every car magazine and even the CEOs of most manufacturers. Rick Waggoner of GM was the latest to say it. He gave Buick a directive "to make their interiors up to par with Audi". The current A6 also has a very good reputation for reliability after three years, according to JD Power. The one you're looking at is loaded, low mileage and at the right price. I wish I was selling it. But Audi is not my car line.

A: I like it because foreign cars are usuallybetter than most American cars. I would choose an Audi A6 or Volvo S60 over a Mercury Milan or Ford 500 anyday. With foreign cars, especially european cars, you get alot more bang for the buck.

Q: Volkswagen Headlight Malfunction Warning?
I have a 2007 Volkswagen GTi, which has the built in navigation system. The information screen between the speedometer and the tachometer tell you everything about the car (if it needs gas, if tire pressure is low, door not shut, needs an oil change). Its really nice to have, because you always know whats going on with the car. I recently had a DRL (daytime running light) out on my 2007 Audi A6. It immediately told me, and i got it fixed right away. My question is: Will my 2007 GTi tell me in the information screen if a light is out? I know its an incredibly common problem new and older Volkswagens. They always have a light out somewhere! Thanks so much for all your help!!!!!!! V-Dub for life!!!! A: a yellow warning light comes on when it detects a blown bulb the same warning light comes on when you switch on the ignition,the light should go out when you apply the brakes,if it stays on it has detected a blown bulb. the 2007 gti doesnt have blown bulb warning lamp.

Q: Can I do a trade in with a leasted car?
I have a 2007 chevy cobalt with 5500 miles. I wanna trade it for a 2003 audi a6 that cost $15000. The cobalt is $17000..its logical for the dealer to do a trade and i pay the overide...right?

A: Yes you can trade in your car at anytime, but the amount you may have to pay may be much more than you think. You probably will not be able to finance the 2003 vehicle by leasing it, because it is 4 years old. and the chevy dealer may charge you extra fees if you are buying the audi from somewhere else. A: Well, where I originally came from, a 15 year old wouldn't be driving without a valid driver. To be perfectly honest with you, a 15 yr old wouldn't appreciate a car unless he paid for it. I would give them the car that will last the longest and cost the least as far as fixing. He will beat on it regardless of what you think he will do. I took pride in the first car I drove. And fixed it when it needed it. I would have him drive the Toyota.

Q: What car should I buy?
I have a flexible budget. Right now, I am considering the new 2006 Honda Accord (3.0 V6 with GPS), 2007 Toyota Camry (2.4 but 4 cylinder with GPS, AFS, ABS etc etc - we do not have the V6 here) or the 2006 2.4 V6 Audi A6 (No GPS available). Problem is that the Camry is the best equipped (better than the Audi), the Accord the fastest and the Audi for the brand conscious. For business and family use...this will be a company car but I will have to chip in if I choose an Audi. What would you choose? BTW, the Audi is about 60% more expensive than the other 2.

A: well the audi will have the best drive...smooth, powerful and audi's are the best built cars in the world.no exception. not sure why u dont have the V6 camry(though if you are in australia, the camry will come in just 4-cyl form with the new model, the new aurion with the V6) but the camry isnt 2 bad, styling is modern but little boring, same can be said for the accord. both r very similar, and trail the audi 4sure, but will save u lots of money in the short & long terms. what about the accord euro(if ur in the states its the acura TSX). great sporty looks and drive, well built and zippy enough for daily needs. it alos has more street cred than the camry or accord, and wont stretch the budget.neighbours will notice you, workmates will b imprseed more with a loaded car like the acura, rather than a stripped-down-spec audi.hope this helps
