Q: which car is faster an infinti 2008 m45x or an 2008 audi a6?
A: It depends on what you mean by faster. If you're talking about acceleration, the M will hit 60 in about 5 1/2 seconds, the A6 in just about 6 1/2. The Infiniti M is an extremely well rated car and it's way, WAY more reliable than the Audi.
Q: 2006 Audi A6 ecu swop?
I have a 2006 audi a6 with a remapped ecu for better performance.I am thinking about buying a 2008 audi a6 with the same engine size and spec.I am wondering is it possible to swop the ecu from my 2006 car to a 2008 car as I do not want to pay for another remap. My buddy is working in an audi dealership with access to audi diagnostic equipment etc,but I am trying to find out a little info myself before asking him.
A: If the engine is the same I would say it is possible. Don't expect them to honor the warranty though.

Q: 1995 Audi A6 2.8- $3500, good?(Autotrader link)?
its a 1995 Audi with 75k miles, is it a reliable car?, is it a good first car?Is it a good price?
heres the link:

A: The dealership I workout just took in one valued at $500. Which is to say that no it is not a good deal. At 75,000 miles it's time for the timing belt to go as well as everything else in the engine.
Q: should I get a 2008 BMW 5 series?
Looking at a 2008 BMW 528i. Will I be bummed if they completely re-design the thing in 2009? What should I do - I also like the Audi A6 and A5 coupe.
OK - let's refine the question:
BMW 528i - decent options
Audi A5 - decent options
BMW 335xi - fully loaded
Mercedes C350 - fully loaded
Here's what's most important to me:
1. Luxury - comfort - spend a LOT of time in my car
2. Drive - responsive but comfy - I'm not a racecar driver (can't really appreciate 250 versus 300 hp)
3. Navigation - I'm always lost - want a usable navi that wont distract too much while driving
4. Interior space - driver and passenger. For the 20% of the time I have passengers, dont want them crammed in
5. bang for buck - I don't want to pay more than $550 a month (for those who like to quote stuff from websites, don't quote me standard calculators, I will be using a good leasing agent who can get the deal done)
A: If you're going for luxury as top priority, i would definitly get the 5 series over the 3 series. Interior space is way bigger and also rides much smoother. The 3 series has a sportier suspension and rides a lot rougher then the 5 series.
Either one has optional navigation.
The 528 is is also pretty quick, although if you want to go with a faster one, definitly look at the 535. It is VERY quick. On the other hand, you will be sacrificing gas mileage.
I don't have any first hand experience with any other vehicles, so i hoped this helped! My suggestion would be to road test the cars and see which one you like the most.
Q: Buying an Audi.?
My mother is looking into buying an Audi for her next car. I've found this (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=235935459&dealer_id=45941237&car_year=2006&model=A4&num_records=25&systime=&make3=&make2=AUDI&start_year=2006&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=100&marketZipError=false&model2=A6&search_lang=en&make=AUDI&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=0&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=30319&advanced=&end_year=2008&doors=&transmission=&max_price=25000&cardist=14) model for her. It appears to be priced well according to Edmunds.com. I've gotten an insurance quote for it and have checked it out on the website of the dealer that it is at. The miles are slightly higher than I would like them to be for that year, but it seems to be fine. Before buying, we would of course take it to the Audi dealership for an inspection by their techs. Yes or no?
The warranty is still good.
My mother likes performance driving. A 6.8 second 0-60 time is just fine by her.
Jared, the Chrysler 300 is an ugly piece of crap. My friend's dad manages a Dodge dealership and she says that they aren't very good. And from what I've read, I'm not all that impressed with it.
I've gotten a lot of mixed reviews on this. Some say that they're perfectly reliable, while others say that they are not.
I believe it is a situational thing. Such as one of my friends' mother drives a fairly new Jaguar X-type. They've never had a problem with it. Yet you hear loads and loads of maintenance issues with most Jaguars.
One note, my mother will not be getting an American car, for any who suggest them.
Josh S., neither my mother, nor I are a fan of VW styling. The improvements in styling and performance in the Audi make it all that much more appealing.
Back seat space is not much of a worry for her, since the back seat will rarely be used.
For now, she's still looking at her options
A: Audi has horrible reliability ratings. It drives nice and handles well in the snow but beyond that, the reliability issues will make it a burden to own. Parts are also very expensive. Just look at some of the questions here and you will see many owners asking what to do with their 2004 or newer Audi which has problems. And simple things- An oil change will run you $140. Definitely not a vehicle I would recommend, especially to my mother, if I loved her. Get a Lexus ES350- far better vehicle and will last longer than anything else she owns.
I would also recommend a Cadillac CTS, Lincoln MK.
Q: What are my rights here? Is this possible?
My Audi A6 2002 with 51,000 miles guaranty expired in February 2008. According to the dealer the car engine was running according to the manufacture.Five months later they said I have to replace the engine. What is my Right?
A: I don't really understand why they would say you need to replace the entire engine unless you've been having SERIOUS problems with it. If you want to you should get a second opinion before spending that kind of money.
Q: nicest car out of the list plz answer quickly!?

i have a 2002 audi a6 c5 model with sat nav plus in,it does not give me street level mapping ie side road names, now what i want to know is that if i get anothe new-er disc say 2008 will the sat nav take it and give me street level mapping
A: Ask your Audi dealer, if it is possible they will be able to supply it for you.
Q: craigslist buying a car?
i email this person about this car and they told me that they are on the airforce and that this will go through ebay is this really true or they just trying to take my money the car is soooo nice to be true for that price that i have emailed two people and they say that the car is already in a shipping company this is a SCAM right??
-----Inline Attachment Follows-----
I will have the car shipped from UK by an US Air Force cargo plane so there won't be any additional shipping costs. Also I will arrange for a truck to transport the car to your home address or, if you like, you can pick it up from the nearest airport in your area. The shipping will take 6-8 days, depending on your location.Shipping will be door to door,to your home address, somebody must be home when the car arrives to sign for the reception. The car will arrive with all the papers and documents required for registration and the keys. The clear title and the bill of sale will be already signed by me.
The payment will be done through eBay.You will send the money to eBay and as soon as the payment is confirmed they will notify me to proceed with the shipping. I will ship the car, you will receive it and you will have 5 days for inspection, both the car and the paperwork and the option to accept or reject the car.The inspection time period will begin as soon as you sign for receiving the car at your requested address.During all this time eBay will hold the money into a trust account. So, this is not a blind transaction, you can see the car before decided to buy it.If you are satisfied with the car and decide to keep it you inform eBay about this and they will release the money to me. If the car is not as advertised and decide not to keep it eBay will refund you the money, no questions asked, and shipping back the car will be my concern. I think this is more than fair for the both of us.Please take in to consideration that I will get paid only after you receive the car and make sure everything is as agreed.
If you agree with these terms and you have the money, send me your full name and the address where you want the car to be delivered to and I will initiate the transaction with eBay. You will receive all the transaction details from them.
I will appreciate an answer as soon as possible.
Thank you
Scott

A: Odds are it will not be the same ECU. Either there will be new features, or more calculation tables, or the connectors are different. The final authority on this is going to be an Audi tuning shop. Why not talk to the place the remapped the one you have now? This is a very good question, but I haven't opened up an '08 yet.
