Q: Can I Put an Audi Navigation in a 2006 S4?
I wanted to buy a 2006 Audi S4, there is one i love with low miles and a great price! But it doesnt come with Navigation, i reall love Audi's Navigation System, can this be added?

A: Yes, but that's an expensive way to go. You could just find a nice looking aftermarket Nav system (with a better user interface) for a lot cheaper. Check out Pioneer, they make some high quality and good looking double din Navs. Nice car choice btw =P

Q: 2006 audi S4 tune up?
im planning on buying an 06' S4, but i want to see the cost for maintance. does anyone know how much it cost to do a complete tune-up at the audi dealer. or does any other place do tune ups on audi's or is it possible to do a tune up myself? i know about cars. but ive heard that newer audis have speacial tools and what not. the car has about 10,000 i know it still has warrenty. but wut bout after the warrenty

A: well i cant give you a price for a tune up but the cost to maintain Audis is right up there with BMW and Mercedies benz but the repairs are less frequent at least with the A4 and A6 and TT the A8 and Q7 may be anouther story. oilchanges range from 90-150 depending on the model if you $60 on oil filter and oil and do the work myself (the oil and filter for the S4 shouldn't cost anymore) tune ups can be pricy as well but i do not have to use the dealer. if you are good with cars you can do alot of things yourself there are some special tools but they are not that expensive and if you check the forums (like Audi world) you may even be able to barrowthem from other owners. overall its a trade off expensive maintence for a car that performs and handels like a car should. I never complain about the cost of ownership because the alternitive is driving a toyota or honda and that is not something im willing to do.

Q: Will my 2006 Audi S4 beat or at least keep up with a 2006 BMW M3?

A: Probably not. You have a slight horsepower edge (340 vs 333), but you weight a bit more (3869 vs 3415). So if you mean "keep up" as in a drag race, you'll be pleased at the 60 foot mark, where the quattro will leap into a quick lead, but you'll get passed quickly thereafter as the power to weight ratio will eat up your lead very quickly. If you mean "keep up" as on a roadcourse or autocross, the BMW would again get the nod. The M3 is an unbelievable performer in these venues, and rear wheel drive tends to be faster and easier to drive at the limit than AWD, the latter being generally tuned to more understeer. However, with all of that said, the two cars are close enough that the one that is driven better will win...even in something as simple as a straight line test...and especially in a more technical event like a road race or autocross. If it's any consolation, at a stoplight to stoplight race, the Audi would probably win. It takes some time and forethought to turn off the traction control on the BMW, and without that off, the car is lazy off the line. Not that I'd ever condone street racing, of course...

Q: What is faster? A stock BMW M3 or an Audi S4..?
Not an A4.. S4.. lets say who was faster in 2000, 2002 and 2006. Strictly stock cars. which ones were faster? I want an S4 and i want to put A4 badges on it and have a serious sleeper. thanks.

A: I have a 2001 S4 and took out an M3, depends on whos driving I guess...dont put A4 badges on it, just leave them off all together, looks better

Q: BMW trying to be Audi?
The new e92 3 Series which can be viewed here... http://www.automobilemag.com/features/0704_bmw_m3_timeline/photo_17.html shares the rear lights with the Audi A4. (view here... http://www.autoblog.com/media/2006/03/Audi-S4-NL-Rear-resized.JPG ) Or is it just me? Next BMW will have a 4WD option on all 3 series! I too prefer Audi's, that is why I question BMW on this. Are they admitting defeat to Audi, saying the A4 is actually better than a 3 series? Something most people have known for a long time!

A: No one has known Audi is better. When someone comes out with a new Coupe what do they test it against? BMW M3. When someone makes an autobahn cruiser what do they test it against? BMW M5. BMW is offering AWD to get the goobers that go buy Audi's and their "quattro" when they drive too and from the grocery store. BMW is never going to be defeated by Audi.

Q: I need to get a stain out of the black paint on my car!!?
I own a 2006 Black Audi S4 and I have had some bird dropping stains that I did not immediately wipe off the car. Since I let them sit for a couple days, I can now see a mark even after the spot has been washed and polished. If you look at an angle in the sun you can see the mark and I was wondering how I can get rid of this? Is there any other option rather than buffing which leaves rings everywhere? Thanks in advance.

A: Without actually seeing it sounds like the dropping have etched the paint. You may be able to clay it off, if that doesn't work get it buffed by someone who knows what they are doing. Buffing when done incorrectly will cause the swirls you described.

Q: Which car would you choose and why?
Which can would you choose and why? 1. 2006 Subaru WRX STi 2. 2005 Audi S4 Manual 3. 2003 BMW M3 Manual Please tell me which one and why?

A: That is a tough call, all of them are nice cars, they are all fast, and all offer different things. I would have to choose the STi, becuase I love Subaru's AWD and their reliabilty is a little bit better than the AWD S4, not to mention it is much less expensive. The M3 is sweet, but for me a RWD car is just not practical. I also hate the i-drive system, and every magazine editor that has experience with it hates it as well. Let's look at the numbers: STi: 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds, 300HP/300ft-lb, AWD M3: 0-60mph in 5.0 seconds, 333HP/262ft-lb, RWD S4: 0-60mph in 5.75 seconds, 340HP/302 ft-lb, AWD The M3 is the fastest, but not by much, the STi is almost as quick as has much more torque, and also offers AWD. The S4 is only a tiny bit slower, and offers much more luxury than the Subaru but you are paying a high premium for that extra luxury, so overall the Subaru is my top choice.

Q: Which of these cars to buy?
I live in Minnesota and as you may know, it snows heavily during 5 months of winter. I am considering buying 1 of these high performance cars. Can you please suggest to me which of these would be the best choice. (performance, utility, practicality). 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2005 Audi S4 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG 2002 BMW M3 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Thanks

A: well if your gonna be driving it in the snow, for 5 months of the year, you can pretty much lower that down to: 06 WRX STI 06 Lancer Evo Since both are pretty good AWD cars. Audi, Benz & BMW are good cars, but are a lot to repair. Also i don't think an CLK55AMG or a M3 are going to stand up to snow very well. The S4 might do okay in snow, but its costs an arm and a leg to repair and service, more so than a BMW and a Benz. If your driving in the snow that much though, i'd go for the STI. It's got a lot of performance for driving on sunny days, and its got AWD and enough power to propel it through tough snow when you have it. Out of all those i'd say the STI is the most practical for you. After that would be the Evo if you like the look of it more.

Q: Which car would you choose?
1. Dodge Charger SRT-8 2006 - 25k miles 2. BMW M3 Manual 2004 25-30k miles 3. Subaru WRX STi Manual 2006 25k miles 4. Audi S4 Early 2005 Manual 25k miles I like the charger because its a big fast american car and sounds really nice but i think it might be to big for 1 person and also the fact that its a dodge im not so sure about it. I like the m3 becauses its really fast and fun to drive in manual but i think 2004 might be to old but i know their built really good. I like the subaru because its fast and all wheel drive and sounds really nice but i think it might be to uncomfortable and small inside to drive everyday. I like the audi, i think its a nice and fast car and has all wheel drive but then i dont think its as fun to drive as the other cars and it doesnt have the new body. What do you guys think?

A: Get the Charger, you won't be disappointed.

Q: Which car would you pick honestly.?
1. 2006 Subaru WRX STi Manual 20k miles on it. 2. 2003 BMW M3 Manual 35-40k miles on it 3. 2005 Audi S4 Manual 30k miles on it. 4. 2006 Ford Mustang GT Roush Package 20k miles on it. Please tell me which and why....which is the most reliable.....which is the most fun to drive.....which will be the chick magnet.....all sorts of stuff.

A: well been a dealer for all of the above the Audi is the way to go, as far as a chick magnet, and also reliability. second choice would be wrx because of reliability only and BMW third and mustang fourth, all are nice but the Audi has better engineering and response. although if you do have problems the second most expensive to fix out of the group. the wrx is fun but not a very comfortable ride, very responsive and quick, reliable but not as much as the Audi. BMW is a cool car also quick and reliable but the most expensive to fix if there is a problem, and then there is the roush package, nice looking car extremely quick in a muscle car kind of way, but its the least reliable out of the bunch. by the way which stage rousch 1,2 or 3? not that that will change my mind just wondering. anyway, hope that helps, merry Christmas and happy new year with your new toy which ever you decide.

Q: Which can would you choose and why?
1. 2006 Subaru WRX STi Manual 15-20k miles 2. 2004 BMW M3 Manual 20-30k miles 3. 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 Auto 15-25k miles 4. 2006 Mustang Saleen S281 Manual 15-25k miles 5. 2003 Mercedes E55 AMG 30-40k miles 6. 2005 Audi S4 Old Body Manual 20-25k miles Which would you choose and why? I have likes about all of them and dislikes about all of them. Some to old, some to big, some american. Let me know.

A: Dodge Avenger.. It looks sharp!!

Q: Can you custom fit an aftermarket exhaust for one car on another?
hi, im a student at universal technical institute and im only in my second course so i havent got to modifying cars yet. i plan on buying a nissan sentra se-r specV, most likely a model from 2004-2006. i hate the exhaust that they have out there for the specv because they all sound like fart cans. i was hoping for an exhaust setup from a 350z or an audi s4. if not possible could i make the exhaust sound like any of those cars? any help will be greatly appreciated =]

A: larger diameter tubing If it currently has 2" pipe Expand a slip on that steps up to 2-1/2 then another to 3" That will give you better flow and deeper tone.

Q: Which car would you choose?
1.2006 Subaru WRX STi Manual 2.2003 BMW M3 Manual 3.2005 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 Manual 4.2005 Audi S4 Manual 5.2003 Mercedes Benz CL500 Automatic All cars will have about 20k-30k miles on them. Please tell me which you choose and why?

A: which car do you want-they all have good and bad points-test drive them all and then decide since you will be the one driving it. they all seem like great cars to me.
