Q: Buying an Audi S4 (B7), what wheels should I get?
I have narrowed it down to 3. I want a 19" wheel because they look nice but are not to big and they still keep the ride close to stock. I need something that isn't too expensive but has a good name behind it. Also, the wheel has to be pretty light weight. The car is a black 2008 Audi S4. Here are your choices: A) 19" OZ Ultraleggera in Black http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=O.Z.&wheelModel=Ultraleggera&wheelFinish=Black+Painted&GCID=C13674x032&code=yes B) 19" BBS CK in Anthracite http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=BBS&wheelModel=CK&wheelFinish=Anthracite+Painted&GCID=C13674x035&code=yes or C) 19" Axis Penta in Hyper Black http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/penta/penta.html# Which would you choose? ~I like these wheels the best but, I am open to other suggestions, however, I do not want chrome or anything flashy and around the $300-$400 per wheel price. Still pick a wheel from above though.

A: I would do the OZ rims. I drive a 2004 Audi S4 and work at an Audi Dealer. I see too many great cars come in for service with rims that are too flashy. You want the rims to be noticed, but not to take away from the overall look of the car. Too many customers think they are making their car look better by putting rims on it, and make it look silly or ricer like. The OZ rims will help keep you from becoming one of "those" guys. Also be sure the place that mounts your tires CAREFULLY moves the Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors to the new rims. They are expensive to replace.

Q: What is the best winter tire for my car? Please help!?
1) Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 2) Continental ContiWinterContact TS810 S 3) Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 4) Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D The car is a 2008 Audi S4 and I live in Ohio. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Note-Price is not an issue. I am looking for a tire that performs great on snow but rides and handles like a summer tire.

A: Blizzak

Q: Car Decision Help.?
My mom is in the Market for a new car and has narrowed her choices down to a couple. I know, not all of them are in the same class, but for overall performance, beauty, and comfort, what is the best. 2008 Volvo C70 2008 Mercedes Benz E320 Bluetec 2008 Audi S4 Automatic 2008 BMW 528xi They are all in the same price range, the Volvo is a little less. What are some good alternatives? We looked at Infiniti and she did not like any of them. We looked at Acura, and she did not like any of them. She does not want to look at Lexus because of the typical Lexus Stereotype (old-lady car). She did not like the CTS because the styling was too edgy for her. I know this kind of limits the choices. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You The Benz is a diesel and gets around 38mpg on highway and does around 600 Miles a tank

A: well if since no japanese or american car is up to par with what you mom wants and she seems like she wants a german car, I would go with the bmw. Only becuae if you buy or lease new, it comes with 4 year free maintence. just buy tires and wiper blades. and of course gas. Everything else is free. The other manufacueres don't offer that kind of warranty. And If you have ever tried to service a german vehicle, it costs an arm and a leg. just the hourly rate is like 90 bucks an hour in most states. lexus gs would be my choice, warrranty is great, and its 10 times cheaper to fix once the warranty runs out if she plans on keeping it that long. But if your mom does not want that stereotype than i guess that won't happen. I despise infinity, I am a honda/acura person and always buy them. I just picked up an 08 MDX last week. I love it. Since the TL is being redisgned this year maybe she can wait for that car. But from your choices up above. I would go with the beemer only becuae of the bad ass warranty they provide. If i had a chance for a luxury Sedan.. I would chose the GS Lexus. I think that car is beautiful. (LS is just to daym expensive and i like the styling of the GS over the LS) If you want beauty, I would go for the Audi. I think that car is pure sex. It would be a close tie for me between the Beemer 5 series and the Audi... if she can afford it. go with the higher end S series.

Q: Audi R-tronic Transmission?
I heard that Audi 2008 R8 model has a R-tronic Transmission. Do you guys think that Audi would apply R-tronic to S- series model (S4, RS4, S5, S6, S8) later ??? What's difference between R-tronic & BMW's SMG transmission ?? Thank you if you answer these two questions.

A: Audi's R-Tronic Transmission is overall the Lamborghini E-Gear Transmission rebadged. The difference between the R-Tronic and the SMG is that the R-Tronic uses single-clutch, while the SMG uses double-clutch. This single-clutch system helps for faster shifts and a lighter weight. Audi will not apply the R-Tronic to any other model, as it is extremely expensive to manufacture (it is not standard on even the R8) and is not so high in demand otherwise.
